Chapter 2.70.010 Adoption of State Officials and Employees Ethics Act.
Prior to the adoption of 2.70.010 (Ord. 2258) on 05/03/2004, Chapter 2.70.010 read as follows.
A. The State Gift Ban Act (5 ILCS
425 et. seq.) is adopted as required by Section 83 of the
Act (5 ILCS 425/83);
B. The solicitation or the acceptance
of gifts prohibited to be solicited or accepted under the
Act is prohibited by an elected or appointed official or any employee of the city. (Ord. 1746 §
